Just received this a few days ago and boy is it comfortable. WARNING: I will be using that word quite a bit in this review. This is the best air mattress I have ever purchased.
It's not made like those flimsy ones that most people usually buy and it sits up high (hence the 'Elevated' in it's name), which I like. Well worth the price which is great by the way. Based on comfort alone, this is definitely a five star product. Pumping was easy, once I got the hang of it, and there were very helpful illustrations showing how to do that on the pad itself. So, just a slow learner on my part. Only drawback is that no R value was given, but I would say in the PNW that it would be best for late spring-summer-very early fall.

I searched online for a kit that would actually work (without leaking) and give my areobed it's life back-and this product did it! PATIENCE is the key here. I used the first coat.
I waited over an hour and applied a second coat. I waited another hour and applied the third and last coat (AFTER pumping the bed up a little). Then I waited a day before pumping the areobed TOTALLY up and it is still holding after several weeks. I did go beyond the instructions given on the package but I just wanted to be assured of a totally leak-free fix. The odor is STRONG and a bit toxic so use it quickly, step away and don't inhale. Having a small fan or good venilation for the moment is good.
There is NO odor after it begins. This is one of the best of the current high-rise air mattresses. No, it is not as comfortable as a real bed. However, it is just fine for a guest bed or a camping trip. I bought two of these mattresses for a recent trip, and both performed very well. They did not deflate during several nights of use, although they did need a little additional air on some mornings. The grooves held the blankets and fitted sheets very well.
I would have no reservation purchasing one of these again for a special sleeping need.
